The countdown begins... 42 days to go until your Cannon Run Party! Scott has an awesome 5 days of camping, live music and good times planned for you all! He would also like to remind everyone that absolutely no children of any age, no minors, no one under the age of 21 is allowed to attend the Cannon Run Party or to be on the party grounds; this includes all camping areas as well. We require this because of safety concerns, and it will be strictly enforced.

The party starts on Tuesday and as a courtesy we are allowing Cannon Runners that choose to come early and set up/mark off the area they would like to camp in. The earliest it is possible for you to do that is Saturday, August 10th after 9:00 a.m. (the Saturday before the party.) This is dependent on the weather however. If it is raining or the ground is muddy we cannot allow anyone to set up until the Cannon Run grounds are dry, so watch the weather! If the weather's been "iffy" feel free to give Bunker Hill Saloon a call. (608)983-2756 See you all soon! Time to get ready to party!!!

The hay is being cut on the Cannon Run grounds to make room for all you campers!!!
Clarification of Previous Post Non-Cannon Runners are welcome to join the party in the bar, beer tent, music and event areas.
It is the camping area that is restricted area for Cannon Runners only. If you are not a booklet holder and you are planning on camping or being in the camping area as a guest of the Cannon Runners, we ask that you go to registration and pay the $30 fee before setting up your tent or camper.

Hey like to thank all the people that helped make this weekend an awesome event. We are first timers and had a great time, looking forward to next years. Just a few things we'd like to say about our experience. We were surprised that the was no wetting down of the drive lanes. With water available from the shower people that could of been used . they were so dusty it was hard to breath at times. And we'd like to thank the KNOBS that thought those lanes we dragways. 30-40 mph is a bit excessive, hey?

Ok so no kid's at or on party grounds well some didn't get memo.........also how about NO DOGS next year saw a couple not on leashes..and they got into it with other dogs.....really folks leave them home. Maybe this could be put right on the map with all the other info about the party in big red letters....... Also kudo's Scot for handling the wild ones......and kicking them out. I know to fence this off would be a big deal but that maybe something you would like to think about in future......either way had a great time love you. Only other thing that I would say is cant wait till it begins again.

If this is OUR party I feel entitled to let you know my kudos & concerns with the party.
I noticed there were fewer porta pottys this year, glad there was a cornfield close. The event flyer said 40 vendors, I seen maybe 10. Are there really people interested in the fireworks? Use the money for something more beneficial, perhaps more toilets, water truck for the roads (this was the 1st year I remember it being a problem), better bands (The last band Friday night was horrible).
Kudos to the streamline ticket drawing process, it seemed to run smooth. I like the attention to keeping the tickets in view at all times.
Also I have a question about the motorcycle show. Do you have to be a registered Cannon Runner to participate? I know at least 2 of the participants that placed in the contest were not Cannon Runners!
All in all, great job with making this a fantastic biker gathering.

I thought it was an awesome party and can't wait to start it again in February.
It would be nice to make this party about the ones who bought books not anyone and everyone. Also suggestions for next year maybe a couple of speakers back on the outside bar area so everyone can hear it. Instead of dumping all of the tickets with the canon, canon ball and route 66 tickets together how about each one has there own container.

Just a suggestion about next year event maybe look at getting Teresi Dyno Drags to come to 2014 cannon run. Seen them at one of JP Cycles open house and it was the coolest thing to see. Also maybe a band like Blackberry Smoke a southern rock band.
